It most certainly is. I've known/seen plenty of women out there, whom after 20+ years of marriage want out. They think they could "do better", be on their own, be their own woman,but yet want to find a "better man" to take care of them.

Of course, they cannot be all these things without their ex-husbands footing the bill so they can be "independent".

That is one of my MOST favorite discussions!

I found it safer and easier to become a celibate and live a life I enjoy, without stress and strife.

I miss some parts of the male-female bonding relationship... but not enough to go through that again.

I'll just keep this house, this time.

A generalized way of describing modern divorce in America, is that basically, looking at a family, husband, wife, children, home, and lifestyle, schools and just everything that makes a marriage, home and family, well the woman has the power to just kick the man out of that structure.

The father is only there as long as the female desires it.

If the tables were turned, and the woman was faced with losing literally everything, then they would not be filing for divorce so casually.
