We sold the Haflingers, Mustangs, Scottish Highland cattle, goats, chickens and ducks. We just have two dogs now. huldah, I do have pics but forget how to do the HTML thing. They were great and fun horses.

ottbmare, the gelding was so well trained for riding we let our grandkids on him bareback. The Haflinger mare we had was trained to drive I was told but we never tried it. She was a doll baby. BTW he was 14 and 2 or 13 and 9 depending on who measured him. He was really stocky so I never thought of him as a pony but I know just what you are talking about. Thanks for your responses!

I don’t always save squirrels but when I do I don’t want it shot...which is just what my DH wanted to do. Over my dead body after I struggled with that hoe.

Nice story!

I did something similar....... sort of similar, I guess. I found a baby possum in an empty trash can, it was almost dead from dehydration. I turned it out on the ground and was about to smash it in the head with a shovel. But then I got it a bowl of water instead and pushed the poor little thing with the shovel, over to the water so it could get a drink.

Later I went and looked and the possum was gone. :) I still don’t like possums.

Was that before or after she testified on Capitol Hill about the cost of contraceptives?
