It is all perception. The USPS hires based on ethnicity with minorities receiving preferential treatment. The same is true for all Federal Agencies over the past twenty-five years.

If you are a white man and you apply for a government job, test the highest, show up for the final interview and you are the only white man there in a room full of female minorities, feel free to leave. YOU AIN”T GETTIN THAT JOB!
That doesn't hold true in the South.
