Gun trafficking could be regarded as a federal crime

US Vice President Joseph Biden has reportedly recommended a law that could define gun trafficking as a federal crime, several sources close to Biden’s gun policy task force have said.

The details are not known yet, but the law has heartened anti-arms advocates who voiced their support of the legislation.

Jim Kessler, a former official at Americans for Gun Safety, explained that “under the law, prosecutors have to prove that you knew the person was a prohibited buyer, and that is too high of a standard. Our feeling is, why have any standard at all? If you sell a gun to somebody without a background check, you should be liable if that person is criminal.”

Absolutely hilarious that I can post this story from Moscow but not from Huffington post. LOL That is special.

As far as this recommendation goes, I think we should resist this recommendation We don't want to get caught up in that briar patch.

These anti-gun freaks make legitimate gun owners responsible for crimes - crimes that they don’t commit.

I can't stop laughing, Uncle Joe strikes again, I guess he'll put the 0 in jail for Fast & Furious, after he ascends to the throne by way of impeachment. Ya know the old guy may be more devious than he appears at first glance.

That means YOU obama and holder. Before anyone or anything else.

The Gun Control Act of 1968 already prohibits private party sales accross state lines. May this law will make it really really illegal.

Gun trafficking, and international gun trafficking is already a crime. Then again, Holder and this regime do it anyway.

I wonder if this would inhibit “Yuri Orlov” types from selling guns to “gang types”.

I say “Go for it!!!”

Make it retroactive to the date of transfer too.

Then stop by the White House, DoJ and clean it out right along with the ATF and anyone else involved in F&F. Lock ‘em all away and lose the key.

Then we can get moving on addressing the real problems.

In a nutshell... Standards are pesky little things that allow one to demonstrate the insanity of liberalism and which can also be used to demonstrate common sense among the People; ergo, standards are bad. Hell, they got rid of standards for public education and look at how much better prepared young "graduates" are to deal with life these days...
