I have dedicated 7 gal. water jugs for bulk potable water storage, but I save laundry detergent jugs, bleach bottles etc. for washing water.

Dryer lint is great stuff. It makes a very good fire starter if you save enough and blend it with melted parrafin or beeswax which you can buy in big blocks at craft stores (i.e. Hobby Lobby) then ct into roughly 1" cubes. Just pinch a corner of the cube to make a wick and it will burn hot with a good flame for up to 10 minutes...long enough to get your kindling lit.

>> Dryer lint is great stuff. @etc

That is an interesting tip. Thx

How do you “blend” it with the paraffin?

save the paper egg cartons. stuff with lint, drizzle wax over lint, and break off cubes as needed. (Did you just say that??) Throw a couple into any fire-starting pile.
