I understand what you mean even though I have never willingly watched any show likeAI.
The few times I have seen these sorts of shows (against my will at a sister-in-laws home) I was irritated immensely by the so called judges arrogance and snide remarks. I have never seen two episodes in the same season.
Having classical music education I know that the judges have less talent than some of the contestants they denigrate. Modern technology can cover a multitude of sins in music these days.
