Al Sharpton threatens drone attacks against American citizens
the Daily Caller ^ | 01/27/2013

Posted on 01/28/2013 1:30:19 AM PST by RC one

Following a public policy meeting of African-American leaders, National Urban League president Marc Morial and National Action Network president Al Sharpton called for a new national assault weapons ban, saying the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution should be regulated.

“Absolutely, I mean if you look at the Second Amendment it was that you would have militia to protect yourself in case the government came and attacked citizens,” he responded.

“First of all, if the government were to come to disarm you, you would not be able to use an automatic weapon to defend yourself. Let’s be serious. We’re in a world of drones now so the Second Amendment would not help you in that area. It is absurd to try to cite that.”

He just threatened to use the full might of the military to disarm the American people and that is his justification for more limits on the second amendment. If this isn't making your spidey senses tingle, maybe you better think about then think about it again. This is exactky why our forefathers included the second amendment in the bill of rights-to oppose tyrants that envision using a large standing Army to subjugate the free people of the American people.

At $58,000 per Hellfire missile and a limited supply, that won’t last very long. Then what? Would you want to raid houses where there might be 1-15 people armed pretty much the same way you are and with their backs against a wall? Or go around in police cars when there are crowds of armed people everywhere? The LAPD was scared out of large portions of their own city by gangs of looters and rioters. Multiply that by 100.

Unless you happen to be a black race pimp who is guilty of inciting riots that killed people or accusing innocent white men of horrendoous crimes that destroyed lives and might have gotten even more people killed. Or unless you are a black race pimp who defrauds hotels and owes money he will never pay. OR unless you are a black race pimp who will say or do anything to get his face in front of a camera to demean and libel and slander anyone he disagrees with.
THEN the Constitution counts...for him.

kind of beside the point IMO. He just slipped and revealed himself to be everything our forefathers warned us about. He is the reason Jefferson didn’t want a large standing Army. he is the reason Jefferson and the rest of our forefathers wanted a second amendment and a civilian militia with no ties to the federal government. He is the reason we won’t compromise on gun control-because he and his ilk envision the reality of using the military and all of its terrible might against the citizens of the US in order to impose their will upon a nation of free men and women.

I have a feeling many RC folks are discussing the myriad of ways and means to bring down a drone using off the shelf RC aircraft, myself what comes to mind is a poor mans squadron of attack aircraft, some being jets for speed.

Buzz a drone over and over, crashing into it if needed, drop spectra rated coils of line that will stop its engine, magnesium flares to blind it or just get close enough to jam its telemetry with another jammer drone.

Fear mongering, the mighty Federal Drones command you to behave! Drop your weapons or be thermally targeted and struck down by a Hellfire missile.

And all those millions of high intensity green laser pointers?

Make a large tube on a swivel, install a hundred or more so you get all the beamms spread out like a tight searchlight beam about several yards around at a fair distance of 1000’ feet or so, place a targeting scope on the barrel so to speak and when a drone comes around keep your “laser cannon” targeted and it may very well fry its camera if it doesn’t overload it.

Now we have a use for those pumped up laser pointers the Feds were screaming at several years ago, they can’t stand the peasants having anything more than scythes and pitchforks.

Actually, it says the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. This is a tired old argument by the Left, that only militias have the right to bear arms. What is a militia anyway? It's a civilian army. How can a militia have weapons if civilians cannot?

If he would like to articulate this challenge just a hair more directly, I will consider it 'game on'.

My definition of the 2A militia requirement is first off I don’t have to wait around for permission or orders, I can use hardware the best I can procure and thats more than I should say, and that as long as I adhere to common sense with the intentions laid out by the 2A I need not be overly concerned about illegal laws telling me to be a surrender monkey, because its all moot when by all definitions the orders are evolving from the problem, its like Hitler taking over Hollywood and the newsreels during WW2 flooding all the screens with threats and propaganda that his way has supremacy and all those that oppse will be eliminated or sent to the ovens.

One of my first projects would be a massive air tank say from a large propane tank, I have that, the control valves for quick opening pilot assist valve, ditto check there, a pipe organ array of pipes each loaded with various types of defensive material from timed fireworks mortars to balls of mono filament and possibly timed fuze flak rounds.

Compressed air drives everything.

Now I can just imagine drones descending upon a convention of pumpkin chunkers, which for argumentative shits and giggles also happens to be the gathering place of the local 2A militia.

Lets see how long a drone last there!

or some hog hunting geeks make some remote operative quad Browning A5 shotguns, thats been done before, who says it has to be used just for hogs?

I fear not a drone, I fear the idiots who fear the drones, I have respect for the drone, I have loathing and ill thoughts of the drone operators.

Not exactly something they should brag about when off location at a bar on the weekend.

He believes it is acceptable to use the military against US citizens in order to bring about their disarmament. It seems pretty direct to me. pretty clear. Pretty present.

Al, with all due respect you are an idiot, a lying idiot.

Yes, no right is absolute. The Second Amendment does not guarantee the right to own a cannon, howitzer or fully automatic machine gun

But what it does guarantee is public access to civilian semi automatic versions of military style firearms and this has ALWAYS been the case.
And those are specifically what Feinstein proposes to ban-exempting herself and her fellow serial criminal repeat office holders of course

And if drone attacks were so successful in controlling a population determined to resist, why the hell are we pulling out of Afghanistan?

I’m afraid Al that you are once again flatulating out of the wrong end of your body.

Say hello to Tawana Brawley for me,hear?

Hey idiot Al - ask someone that served in Iraq during the mid 2000s about what a much SMALLER and less COMMITTED insurgency can do (and cause).

Then multiply that times 10.

And oh yea moron - hide, hide real good. We will be talking, “target rich” environment.

Good thing the people in charge today were not the ones in charge during the civil rights protest era of the 60’s.

From water hosings and german shepherds to drones with hell fire missiles in a little over 50 years!

The second amendment battle will be more important for freedom in America than that fought over black civil rights in the 60’s.

It is so obvious.

When you run across one of these anti-gunners [like Rev. Al Sharpton] ask a couple of simple questions.

1. You make guns (or certain guns) illegal.
2. You tell their owners to turn them in (effectively taking the owners’ property worth hundreds or thousands of dollars for nothing).
3. The owners refuse.
4. How do you get those guns out of the hands of the owners?
5. Will you send in government agents to kill the resisters and take their property?
6. Will you inform on friends, neighbors, and family so that government agents can raid their homes, steal their property, and murder them?
7. Do you not think there will be blowback on the people who inform or support the theft, incarceration, and murder of their fellow Americans?
8. If you hate guns so much, why outsource to the government? Don't you have the guts to do your own ‘wet work’?
