I say good for him, too. And good for his daughter who does eat healthy stuff like broccoli but wasn’t a nag to her dad.

On the other hand, I have to admonish myself for wasting my time reading this.

Maybe it's just me but I would think that you would be far more concerned with yourself about spending the effort to respond to this than you would be to just reading it.

To each his own. That includes the subject matter of this thread. Personally, I love fresh vegetables! I also love Taco Supreme with fresh sour cream!!!

What say you Johnny, you young whippersnapper?!?

Oh... I've been known to cook and eat most anything I could catch or find.

I don't use possum grease anymore to fry eggs, though. Probably not healthy. I use bacon drippings now, like most folks.

After a long, hard winter... I'll be glad to see the greens come up in the yard. I had salted, smoked pork, roasted potatoes, and kraut for supper tonight.

I'm looking forward to some lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion on a toasted bun.

It's good to be regular.

I salute you, sir.

G-d will call each of us home in His own good time, and not one second before. When we say the blessings over the good things of this Earth given by Him for our nourishment, we have acknowledged His goodness that allows us to do our duty in His sight, and can do no more.

My favorite meal of the day is breakfast, which gives me notice that the Lord has called me up for yet another day to serve Him and to do His will.

Don't worry about that... worry about when He draws you close and says "Go figure it out".

Dec 8, 2009. They got mom out of the home to come hold my hand while I died.... Sheesh.

It ain't over until it's over.

Of course, figuring out what in the heck I'm still here for.... that's a noggin scratcher.

Sounds wonderful. The wife doesn't care much for kraut. I love it though. She made us a chicken pot pie. What a blessing that was! mmm..mmm..mmm

G'night FRiends
