Anyone care to obsess (like Palin leaving Fox) how many dollars-per-word these jokers were paid? Methinks not.

I wonder if these cuts indicate dropping revenues for the Communist News Nitwits?

Here’s the deal if you haven’t figured this out. Fox owns the airwaves now...from 5PM on. CNN and MSNBC can’t compete at all. Some guy will add up the numbers, and note ratings. At that point, CNN and MSNBC....can’t charge full rates on a show that only pulls a quarter of the viewers that Fox has.

Hour after hour, day after day, week after week....the financial side of both MSNBC and CNN is being hurt...same for the big-three guys. If you work for CNN...I doubt if you’ve had a pay-raise in three years. MSNBC? Probably at least that long. Want fancy grapes in the studio to snack on....forget it.

So the big-name guys that CNN and MSNBC use to really get emphasis? They’ve got to go. You will begin to see people that you’ve never noticed....some guy claming to write for some Atlanta newspaper, or Milwaukee TV show. That’s all they can afford.

Fox has done something that changed the whole salary scheme. You’d have to be a fool today to hire Katie Couric for CBS Nightly News. Everyone is careful about their budgets...all because of Fox.

What? The Carville's left because CNN cut back on bendy straws?

The point is that everybody made a big deal about how Palin leaving FNC was a sign that the Tea Party was dead, that Palin was in decline, and that the GOP should reject the conservative wing.

So now that Carville and Matalin are leaving CNN, what is that a harbinger of? Anything? Does this put the Palin at FNC news into a different context?

Or is just that Palin news is an opportunity for Palin bashing, but equivalent liberal news is not an opportunity to make sweeping judgments?

Looks like lefty Soledad O’Brien is probably out. She certainly has lost her morning show (to two other anchors), although CNN may try to keep her on in some capacity. I don’t blame Zucker one bit. Her show wasn’t given much of a budget, but it did even more poorly in the ratings. Gotta make money to justify having the show.

Yes those ratings have helped Fox contribute a lot more to Obama than Romney this past election
