Great video of dad fighting school board in court over forced sex-ed classes

January 31, 2013, (LifeSiteNews.com) - Just as Ontario’s new Premier Kathleen Wynne has announced plans to reintroduce an explicit sex-ed program, the Marriage Anti-Defamation Alliance, and our friend Damian Goddard have released a great video about a striking case where exactly this type of program has been used as a battering ram against parental rights.

Wynne, the first open homosexual to lead either provincial or federal government in Canada, was the architect of Ontario’s controversial equity and inclusive education strategy during her years as Minister of Education.

She was also behind this new sex-ed program, which would have students learning about “gender identity” in grade 3 and anal sex in grade 7.

It’s bad enough that this stuff would be taught in the classroom at all – why not let parents judge for themselves when their kids are ready to discuss sex? – but now there’s an increasingly entrenched opposition to even informing parents when it comes up.

The video is an interview with Dr. Steve Tourloukis. Tourloukis asked the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board to be told when his kids would be discussing same-sex “marriage” and other controversial issues in the classroom, but they said to do so would be a violation of “human rights.” So he’s taking them to court to get a declaration that the parent has primary authority over his children’s education.

The school board, amazingly, has the gall to oppose him in court on even such a basic proposition.

This type of abuse by schools is coming to cities across North America and the West, so parents need to be ready. Our children’s hearts and souls depend on it.

Check out the video, learn about this awful situation, and take inspiration from this man’s courage

He already has that authority from God (Deuteronomy 6). What he needs to do is act consistent with it, starting with not abandoning his kids to the state-run school system.

I wish I had the choice. However, we are barely making it, Mrs. VPINTHEAK is not a teacher, but is staying at home with a small kid.
Parents have the right to common sense and basic decency. If we don’t like it we get involved in the school board fights.

Hmmmmm a parent actually getting involved and doing something more than just sitting at the keyboard.

Sounds like something I have been advocating for several years now.

I always GET A KICK out of parents that send their kid to public school, and then EXPECT the school to listen to them...as if they’re paying the tuition.

I hate to break the new to Mr. Louganis, but he DOES NOT pay the tuition where his little brat goes to school, the GOVERNMENT does, and the schools there, just as here, will answer to the government.

Sure, once in a while, if a parent becomes TOTALLY INSANE, they might yield a bit (rather than have him locked up and have his guns taken away), but it will not be much of a concession, and once that parent is out of the way, they will be back to their old tricks, and then some.

ANOTHER REASON TO HOMESCHOOL

This ping list is for the “other” articles of interest to homeschoolers about education and public school. This can occasionally be a fairly high volume list. Articles pinged to the Another Reason to Homeschool List will be given the keyword of ARTH. (If I remember. If I forget, please feel free to add it yourself)

The main Homeschool Ping List handles the homeschool-specific articles. I hold both the Homeschool Ping List and the Another Reason to Homeschool Ping list. Please freepmail me to let me know if you would like to be added to or removed from either list, or both.

Bob I am not complaining this time at least some parents are standing up. If only 100 more would. The problem here is this man is Christian, if he was a muzzie they would end the vile sex ed classes or remove his kid.

Yes, the government doesn’t have any of it’s own money, it’s taxpayer money, thus I am paying this. I have every right to go and make any demand I like, it’s my money.

You have been conditioned by the system to believe you and your wife are not teachers, you teach your children everyday, don’t believe for a moment that you can’t homeschool your kids, you can and they will be all the better for it.

Yea, not you - rather the parent. But yes, you are DEAD ON regarding how other religions would be exempted. They difference is that those religions will not walk away calmly when told to sit on it - which is why they are not told to do EXACTLY that.

“The gov’t pays the public school tuition? Really? Then why the f**k am I paying school taxes directly to my town? Either that or you’re full of crap. If he’s paying property taxes, he’s got every right and priviledge to go in and ask for control of the curriculum.”

You just answered your own question (”I paying school taxes directly to my town”), hopefully this starts to make sense to you. You are NOT paying the school. The town is paying the school. If you were paying the school, you’d have some choice as to which school to pay - or not pay to pay. No, the checks that come to the schools are wired from GOVERNMENT ENTITIES, which is why they care a LOT MORE about what Washington DC wants (and your state, and your town), than what you want. For they can CHOOSE to stop paying...you don’t have that choice.

After all, you WILL pay, or a man with a gun will show up at your door to make you pay. You are NOT a customer - you are NOTHING, to them, but a pain in the butt. Until you’re able to take over control of the schools (which is next to impossible), you will always remain NOTHING to them.

That’s why I never played their game - I knew that they didn’t answer to me.

What most people don't realize is that this type of sex-values education has been in operation for decades.

It began in the late 70s in the inner city schools. Minority parents were considered to be less of a problem than whites who are generally a bit more excitable when it comes to potentially offensive material.

So, they got a lot of practice on inner city minorities. Administrators learned how to "handle" wayward and nosy parents. Within ten years they were making their way into non-inner city schools. They even began to make their way into Catholic and private schools although they were not as successful as they were in the public arena.

So, why are they teaching in this manner? What do they think they can gain by all this?

Bill Ayers said it recently. They have control of education. They will destroy our Republic.

How so? By desensitizing our children and separating them from their parents - mentally, spiritually, psychologically.

Success is when that child has no one else to turn to they will turn to the state for everything. That is the plan, and Bill Ayers believes that they are not long from completely smashing our country and everything our Founders accomplished.

Yeah, all from desensitizing classes you would not allow your child to spend one second in if you really knew what was in them.
