I made a mistake in my “red” graphic. I meant to say “to honor our troops”. Oh well, sorry!

Me too.
Gerbera Daisies have the same effect on me.
I started growing them several years ago at the request of one of my customers. They are easy to grow and so cheery.

I love Gerbera Daisies!

My neighbor has a beautiful bed of Pansies blooming around a decidious tree..They are planted here in the fall..and withstand winter..I have never seen such wonderful winter color as this year.As soon as our Texas heat really gets going..the Pansies are done.

How lovely Meg. Both the image and the poem brought memories to me as my Mother loved Pansies. She lived in a Condo in later years and each fall I would plant some Pansies in pots for her. We live on memories, don’t we?

Hi Teenie. I did forget about wearing red today, but always support our troops.
I think of you often and hope you are doing well.

What an adorable child! We had a wonderful sunny and warm week last week. It’s sunny today but the nights are colder again. Spring is coming, I wait for it each year - glad to just be alive.

Hi, Teenie.

Are you having spring weather? I can’t believe that we are going to get through winter so soon. It is 65 degrees right now. We have had very few days of dense fog this year. If February continues the way it started, it will be very kind!

Wishing you a Warm February Friday.

Thank you, Kitty. That little boy is so precious I could just squeeze him to death. I raised 2 little boys and I remember those first haircuts. They both did pretty good. We had taken them a couple of times when their dad got his haircut and they knew it didn’t hurt. But kids don’t like the noise of some of those electric razors. ((((HUGS))))

Thank you, potlatch! Its always so good to see you! We have had bitter cold weather and it depresses me. The weather man says we’re in for a few more really cold days. I think I will feel a lot better as spring approaches! I can’t wait!! I’m thankful to be alive, too, potlatch. I’m always thankful for my warm house, plenty of food and of course, my two sons! Also thankful for all of my friends on Amy’s Place.
