Serious Questions...

1) What is preventing gun and ammunition manufacturers from ramping up production to meet the increased demand?

2) What is preventing new manufacturers from entering the market to meet the growing demand?

These shortages have been going on for some time now.

My guess is they don’t want to build additional facilities only to have them empty once the surge is over.

Also there might be a shortage of raw materials such as brass, copper lead etc.

My two local stores say they can’t get ANYTHING sent to them. It is not just the run causing the shortage. Someone is choking off the supply and pressuring warehouses etc not to ship.

Ordinarily you would expect gun sellers to ramp up production to make as much money as possible, not let the supply run low. There is really only one good reason to throttle the suppliers and it’s not a good one.
