I used to, a few years back while onboard on old fishing trawler tied to a dock.

Sometimes I'd take a laptop outside and set it on the samson post, since it rose about as high as my ribcage when standing aft of it. Was poaching a free wireless signal from a nearby hotel.

Contemplating starting a blog entitled "From the Samson Post", but never bothered. Besides, the signal was too dicey. Better to trudge uptown a ways, and get a better connection.

They are far from gone, but yes, if you limit your search to the US, they are pretty much gone. But it’s a big world out there and there are literally billions of women who are raised and educated to love and respect men, rather than hate them.

True. Of all the good women I know here in the US, pretty much all the best ones are taken already. Of the ones that are left, at least past their twenties that is, it's a given that a bit of some baggage comes along with them. Some much moreso than others, mind. The ones from non-US locations tend to have much less, and are therefore the more interesting to one such as I, to be sure.

Interesting you note the non American women who are still marriage material.

You would be even more amazed at the bios of the foreign-born women I correspond with. With very few exceptions, they far outshine their counterparts in the US not only in the looks department, but also in how they feel about themselves and about prospective marriage material.
