William Bowden painted Screwed by the Town of Cary on his house after a road-widening project (allegedly) directed runoff onto his property, damaging his North Carolina home. Within hours, zoning officials paid him a visit, ordering him to remove the sign or pay fines of up to $500 for each day of noncompliance.

Reminds me of the guy with the flower shop in Lima Ohio that the city had a perpetual hard-on for. They were always citing him for something. He eventually took a big sheet and painted a swastika with Heil Berger (the mayor) on it and hung it on the side of his building.
A relatively new tactic called “SWAT-ing”.
They’ve nearly killed a few people and may have killed a few we’ve never heard about.

Your post could very possibly be appropriate. The original plaintiff is dead. No reason given but I’m sure the headache involved with this situation at the very least didn’t help his last days.
All he has to do is get a truck and put a banner on it and park it on the street or in his driveway. He may have to move it every so often if there is a covenant about that. He can also drive it downtown and circle city hall, parking it where legal.

If Americans will once again get real creative, there are easy ways to put these controlling big gov types in their places. Think...Think!!!
Local HOA officials, zoning board officials, etc. are where elitist control freaks first show up on the political spectrum. These control freaks should be exterminated before they have the opportunity to expand their spheres of influence.
