Good afternoon/evening FReepers. Yep, it is Beer Thirty Time Once Again!
Happiness is a bubbling airlock! And a Cold Brew
Irish Stout Yum!
This past week I racked an oatmeal stout to a secondary and added some oak cubes that had been soaking in Makers Mark for a little over a month. I think I will let them flavor the beer for a few days and then remove them. Has anyone used oak cubes or chips to flavor their beer? How long should they be in the secondary?

I will make my offer again to any Puget Sound FReeper homebrewers.
I have a boatload of Grolsch flip-top bottles, and can easily spare 20 or 30 to a brewer in need!
These puppies cost two bucks a pop at Larry’s Homebrew shop.
FReepmail me and we can work out the details...

Note to self.....start a new batch of beer before it gets too warm.
....I know...I'm procrastinating

I’ve got ten gallons sitting in secondary waiting to be bottled.
It’s drill weekend, dangit.

Please add me to your ping list.

I bottled up 5 gals last weekend of a Belgian Dubbell. ABV turned out to be 8.5. I doubled up on the carbonating sugar.
Last batch I made that was kinda dull so hopefully this will help. Now we wait about 2-3 weeks. :-)
