The main tank called the "Kuroshio Sea" holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water and features the world's second largest acrylic glass panel. Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank.

Looks crowded and just a big square box with nothing but water and fish. No plant growth or formations for the fish to hide behind. Swim in circles, swim in circles, swim in circles. Rather depressing.
Like to fish in that tank. Catch a whale shark....
The Georgia Aquirium is pretty cool. I was impressed with the specimens they have. Unfortunately, the whale sharks they dormitize die, I think 2 or 3 have died. My wife and I were thinking or having our wedding reception in their ballroom. The ballroom was probably 4 thousand sq feet, with 40 feet by 20 feet views inside the tanks hosting specimens in the video. It was cool. Interesting thing about dolphins held in captivity. They have a average life span of five years. They supposedly commit suicide by drowning because they are depressed from seperation from their pod. Dolphins in the wild live a average 30 years. The Georgia Acquium is nice five hour visit. Admission was a little steep, but it was nice.

Same as I. We have naturally hard well water and the fish seem to thrive in it. Don’t have to add anything to the water. I have been thinking of getting LED lights for my aquarium. They are supposed to enhance the fish’s colors but they are not cheap. Not sure if they are worth the expenses.
I have well water that is hard too. I have a water softener but I put it bypass when I do water changes. Well water makes water changes so much easier. The LED lights are nice but your right they are expensive. They are on my short list of things to upgrade for my tanks. I also have a 90 gallon community tank and 39 gallon isolation tank. This hobby gets expensive but it’s fun.
Thanks. One 55 gallon tank, limited by space and my wife’s ability to put up with an expensive hobby. After several year absence, my fish have suddenly started reproducing again. Don’t know what changed, same water, same rocks, same PH. LED lights for my birthday.
Same thing here with the fish reproducing. I’m not sure why that happens either. I started my large tank in 1995 with six Cichlids and I haven’t bought another since. Hope you get those LEDs for your birthday.
