Support Growing For Former L.A. Officer Accused Of Killing Spree ("Dorner for President")
KMAX-TV ^ | February 8, 2013

The ex-cop accused of three revenge killings left behind a long manifesto outlining all of his grievances and observations.

That manifesto has given investigators some clues, but they still don’t know where is Christopher Dorner.

Law enforcement spent four hours searching his mom’s Orange County home. They took out 10 grocery bags filled with evidence.

Dorner lost his job with the Los Angeles Police Department in 2008. His manifesto vows revenge for that; and, surprisingly, thousands of people actually support him.

It’s hard to believe but there are those out there who sympathize with the man targeting police officers.

One Facebook page is proclaiming Dorner for president. “We propose electing a man who could no longer sit idly by and watch as malicious tyrants abuse the innocent.”

The description on “We Are All Chris Dorner” chillingly says, “Yes, this is war.”(continued, 2 pages)

At Lexington and Concord, the Minute Men did not make the first move.

If the 47% want to make the first move at starting R2, who are we to not let them to begin their “march toward Concord”?

Must be one of those “If I had a son...” things Barry does. These days, murderers, thieves, crooks and sexual deviants are really popular with the low information, “smart” phone types living in this country. Lots of morons living here.

And, the problem isn't just with the LAPD.

As usual its a primarily urban issue that goes well beyond the police on their own.

One shining of a spotlight on the tail gate of this truck and it's clear it's not a NISSAN! The cops are saying this truck pulled away when ordered to stop, but.. Who knows..

Wrong truck shot up by police! Amazingly both occupants walked away with only graze wounds. Not a great PR move by the police.

Police are agents of the city govt and the city govt is liable for their actions when they get out of line.

Instead of getting rid of bad cops and accept the liability, the city will orchestrate a cover up to avoid or lessen their civil liability.

One of the main ways to orchestrate a cover up of an out of control cop is simply charge the victim with a crime and prosecute them.

Corrupt police is the sing of a corrupt city govt. Not a real surprise since most of your big city govts. are run by dems.

Unions also make it almost impossible to get rid of bad cops so the public has to pay the price.

I’m not surprised at all. I grew up in L.A., and heard all the stories from my dad who grew up in L.A. during the 1930s and 1940s and lived there his entire adult life until he retired.

He had a rather dim view of the LAPD. He was a white guy, I should say - no problems with the law whatsoever. He was pretty well-connected though with folks in City Hall (he was a Master Mason), and he.....heard things. Very disturbing things.

“This guy would be doing the same stuff if he was still LAPD - only the victims would be different. A punk is a punk. Lets face it, he attacks only from ambush, shooting down unsuspecting victims. He’s too cowardly to fight a stand up fight cuz he knows his blubbery butt would get waxed in a second if he actually went mano-a-mano. Put him down like the mad dog he is.”

Which explains his love for liberals.

Cary and naive at the same time, especially this response

" It doesn't make sense he had no beef with Daughter. I think the LAPD did it. "

Jessie James was a cold-blooded killer as well. Along with Billy the Kid, Baby-Face Nelson, and Bonnie & Clyde.

It’s a part of our popular culture, and has been for a long time, to romanticize outlaw figures.

Mr. Dorner here is simply the latest. There will be others after him.

Bill Ayers inspired Dorner. Obama. Hillary. Anderson Cooper. DU. Feinstein. Gun Control.

. . and the brainwashing continues in our public schools, then the Marxist professors have at em'.

Get active in your school board if you can.

Yeah never mind the fact that he was fired for excessive force. Never mind the fact that one of his first victims was guilty of nothing more than being the daughter of an attorney who lost the case on behalf of the police dept.

I think he was fired because he sided with a civilian against a female officer that kicked him when he was cuffed. They are just finding out that he was a nut job the whole time. The LAPD looks pathetic in almost killing 3 civilians driving trucks that in no way resemble this douche bag's truck.

I think that LAPD is going to cover up the bad shooting of the 3 civilians and all the other stuff this nut bag rambled on about.

He's probably back in LA laughing his rear off looking at the searches up in the mountains. I've got faith he'll screw up, but I also have faith that the LAPD will probably shoot and maim more civilians.

Yeah never mind the fact that he was fired for excessive force.

Excuse me? Mind reading the facts again? He reported a superior officer for using excessive force. Panel said Dorner was lying. Further interview with victim and injuries may very well indicated Dorner was NOT lying. He was fired over that. He chose the wrong thing to do about it.

The mass media have been romanticizing cold-blooded killers for a long time. It has sold newspapers since before the Civil War and, more recently, it has sold movie tickets and improved audience share in the Nielsen ratings for TV news broadcasts, which improves advertising revenue.

Perhaps what we need to do is outlaw (if necessary, with a Constitutional amendment limiting First Amendment rights) any news media description of a violent criminal. The news media should focus instead on the victims and survivors. This would prevent the rebranding of cold-blooded killers into heroes (or anti-heroes) by the news media.
