The line for single-game tickets outside #Marlins Park, less than 30 min before they go on sale
I was certain every possible joke about baseball attendance in Florida had been exhausted over the past 20 years. Then I saw the tweet by Joe Capozzi of the Palm Beach Post that included the photo (below) from the Miami Marlins Winter Warm Up event Saturday and realized we havent even scratched the surface.
The Marlins have used up all of the goodwill a new taxpayer-funded stadium gave them just a year ago.

America should do this to all liberal leaning sports.
So who are they playing?
I think this says something favorable about folks from Florida as opposed to the mega liberal Red Sox zombies from Mass. who would be camped out overnight to sit in the most uncomfortable, overpriced park in the country but couldn’t tell you the last time they stepped foot in a church.
Who stands in line for tickets, when you can order them online?
Why you never do taxpayer funded stadiums.
And for you Jeb Bush cheerleaders.....he helped the Fish get taxpayer money for the new Fish Bowl in Miami. Most of Miami-Dade is Third World.....no money or interest in baseball

I’ve got friends who live on the Atlantic coast of Florida and make several trips to Lakeland every spring.
Is there any truth to the rumor that they are having spring training in Portland Maine???
We get longer lines than this here for Spring Training games. Of course, we have the Cubs and a bunch of well-heeled retired Snowbirds here, too.
Oh for crying out loud!!!! Its baseball...the prototypical American sport!
Bread and circus.
Does the one with the ponytail have to buy 2 tickets/2 seats?

Been to the new park a couple times when my Bro-in-law has unused tickets.
Very nice place. But you have to drive through the ghetto, which is downtown miami, to get there.
If the average American idiot had any brains of self respect, that would be the turnout for every major league sporting event.
Yep, it’s on the site of the old Orange Bowl, it wasn’t a good neighborhood even back then.
Always wondered how Liberty City got its name.
Used to go with a girl from Hollywood and her
parents never left the house after dark from
fear from those gangs
