In April of 2000, I was on a business trip to Rio. The last night of the trip, we were on the roof of the hotel. Low-lying fog covered much area but the lighted statue shone brightly over the city. Quite a sight.

Just WHERE do these people learn English?

Pray for her. She can get saved. Being that close to the large representation of Jesus may have had an impact on her that we don't know about. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and she was trying to imitate Christ, in her way. The mere thought of Christ can influence someone.
