I have seen said toilet (or another one that Hitler owned) several times. It used to be part of a Hitler "exhibit" that toured gun shows back in the 'seventies. At that time there was also a bathttub, plumbing fixtiures, silverware and table linens displayed with it.

How one documents the authenticity of such items is anyone's guess.
