Of course, everyone benefits. The criminals do not know whose house is armed or unarmed and increased risk reduces crime as with any other activity.

Perhaps, then, it is inadvisable to obtain any sort of registration, certification, etc., in order to protect one’s privacy. We’ve all seen how badly the powers-that-be become unstrung with a challenge. Let’s reconsider this. (Not that I have any raisin-d-ate to be concerned.)

I agree with that statement completely. I also believe that no one should apply for a carry permit. The second amendment is your carry permit. Permits are nothing but back door registration.

Well effin’ duh! That’s why it is called concealed carry. If we wanted everyone to know we had a firearm, we’d open carry...
