Just turned on Hannity and he had some nitwit blond on who was wearing a "peace" necklace...who was that? She fit the mold of a 60's lib hippy whoever the hell she was.
Anyway, they were talking about the Keystone Pipeline (I believe) and Hannity mentioned to her that he drove a hybrid and her response was, "you're a conservationalist!" WTH is a conservationalist? Can some please enlighten me?

There is a guy at work who claims to be studying environmental engineering. He said the same thing that he was a conservationalist. I said what is so hard about recyling stuff you don’t need anymore and making sure you turn the lights out when you leave a room? He said, its much more than that. He said what if there was oil found on your property, would you let them drill for it there. I said of course I would, sounds like a great way for me to make a lot of money. He looked really upset, and started talking about how “flames would be coming out of my facets, and it is stupiest thing I could do, and its irresponsible.” I said, I would use my profits to move somewhere else.
And maybe have your facets cleaned. ;)
I have hot and cold water facets.
She also touted “Only use one tissue to wipe after using the Bathroom” to save the Trees. So not only are her looks fading, she smells like crap.

Yeah, you’re right, too. I need to stop assuming & get some facts first. Considering how she started out as a Hollywood director’s underage bride, Bo Derek has her priorities pretty much in order.
But back to Darryl Hannah & her pipeline protest, just why is it that liberals don’t want us to be self sufficient in energy? IMO it’s because they hate this country & want to see it hurt. That simple. And they believe the consequences they hope to see inflicted on the majority won’t affect them personally.

I remember shortly after that story broke Crow and V.P. Cheney met at some non-political event. Hollywood presstitutes got their panties in a bunch because Cheney refused to shake her hand. Needless to say, Rush had a field day with the story about Sheryl “One Sheet” shaking hands (or not).
hannity is a nitwit, so how could you tell the difference???
Case in point. Look at the bags under Hagel’s eyes. It takes years of hard drinking to get those, but he is to be the head of our national defense forces.

As an aside, my wife worked for a while at a hair salon that Bo frequented. Said she was even more striking in real life, that her blue eyes could freeze you solid.
Sounds like my Dad was the original conservationalist. I can still hear him saying "Turn off the dammed lights! I don't work for the power company!" every time I walk through a well-lit house, hitting the light switches.
And - to your point - when did common sense (turn off the lights, don't waste water, use it up, wear it out, etc etc etc) go from being "common sense" to "let me wrap myself in a greener-than-thou cloak of piousness".
