Google set a tracker on you. It's blocking it. Pick the ghost icon to get more info.
Many pop-ups seem malicious. Often my anti-virus software warns me against proceeding. Other times, a fake Microsoft warning comes up claiming my machine is infected, & offering to clean the problem. Exiting these windows usually requires closing Explorer via the task manager. You can't click your way out. That only spawns more windows.
Makes me so damn mad!!!!!!
Warning to Breitbart & other sites with these annoying, potentially dangerous pop-ups: I don't go to your site very often anymore. I can easily get my news & opinions from sites that treat visitors better. You have a lot of competition.
Yes the purple box, update Ghostery, Click on the Ghost and go into options. Click on 3pes, and Cookies and click on Select All. I think it will get Google Analytics as well, or you and click on it and add it. Screw Google tracking every friggen move you make...
You are right
it all made sense
thank you
OK. I see that it is working. The purple box goes away after a few seconds on FR but on drudge it has about 10 blocks going on! lol
Oh worse, run Ghostery and turn it off for a minute on Drudge, BusinessInsider, and Beck's The Blaze everybody and their brother are giving you an advertising anal and Beck is the worst.

“If you ever find yourself in a situation...”
Thank you! Good information!
That’s to save video? Turn it back on when needed.
Mozilla FireFox + Noscript addin = CONTROL
Noscipt blocks all scripts from running unless you selectively allow them to run. You can “train” Noscript to allow your favorite sites to function to the degree you want. You will be amazed how much marketing “spyware” clutters practically any web site now.
