Sex, Murder Mix as McAvoys Macbeth Vomits in Bloodbath
Ping
As bizarre as it sounds it was the word’vomits’ that caught my attention.
I never had to use the plural.
Sounds over the top! Not a fan of the overtly gross and macabre, be it film or stage, but will admit the name McAvoy caught my attention, being the object of my strange adult crush years ago:)
Not plural; it’s being used a verb in the headline.
I don’t mean grammatically, just the word itself because it’s a funny-sounding word. (At least to me). That and anything involving vomit should be interesting.

Okay, sorry, I guess my humor sensor was not quite yet tuned up for the day.
I did not go to the link, but I am assuming that this actor’s interpretation of Macbeth has the character throwing up during a fight. Pretty disgusting.
I guess onstage defecation is next. These entertainment people have just gone so far over the edge. I hate what they have done to the culture.
If it comes here to the Guthrie, I’d go see it...
Onstage defecation?
You might be right.
I did see Ian Holm compare Claudius’ “prayer” scene to vomiting. I could see a person vomiting after murdering someone.
Most definitely, it sounds like something a normal person might do after killing someone — pretty sure I would. But I really don’t think we need to see such on the stage or on film. As I said before, is onstage defecation next?
