People you expect to see towards the end of a typical Oscar ceremony: Jack Nicholson. People don't expect to see: First Lady Michelle Obama. Presenting the final award of Sunday's very long Academy Awards -- Best Picture -- three-time Oscar winner Nicholson, 75, introduced the President's wife, 49, appearing via satellite from the White House.
"Thank you Jack, and welcome to the White House everyone. I'm so honored to introduce the nominees for Best Picture," said the First Lady, resplendent in a Naeem Khan dress plus chandelier earrings. "And to help celebrate the movies that lift our spirits, broaden our minds and transport us to places we have never imagined."
Flanked by servicemen and women, Mrs. Obama praised the nine Best Picture nominees' uplifting qualities: "These lessons apply to all of us no matter who we are or what we look like or where we come from or who we love, but they are especially important for our young people . . . I want to thank all of you here tonight for being part of that vitally important work."
Obama then went back to Nicholson, who awarded the trophy to an emotional Ben Affleck and the entire Argo crew. What was behind Obama's inclusion?

All through the Obama Infestation, she has always seemed like she was telling us all where to go with her outrageous fashions and lack of attempt at looking ladylike and graceful in her position as FLOTUS. I remember thinking that, surely, she had people to teach her protocol, to tell her you don’t go outside in shorts with your bra strap hanging out, that you exit a car, a plane, in a certain way etc. I concluded that she, apparently, told all of them to take a flying leap.
I found myself a little puzzled when I could see, on Inauguration Day, that she clearly had been taking lessons in walking. She was obviously trying to put one foot in front of the other, model-style, instead of her usual Frankenstein stagger. Then, she came out with the bangs recently to cover those eyebrows that make her look eternally ticked off.
It all make sense now. Soros has decreed that she will be our first female and first real black president — the halfrican doesn’t count.

Adele sang Skyfall,wbill and yes, her voice was perfect for it. It won best song too, didn’t it?
And agree that Seth M. was very unfunny.
They should get Billy Crystal back..newly reduced jowls, rug, looks rather clown-like now but at least, he’s funny.
I am at a loss as to why she had military on stage with her, just odd.

But Jack Nicholson IS pro-life, but he’s there too! Do you “have no use” of him? Of course, other than that, and that he’s pro-military, he’s a liberal Democrat, so I’m not too surprised that he’s there, I guess!
If she is, she apparently doesn’t want it splashed around! Haven’t you read where recently, she wanted her name/picture taken off of a pro-gay marriage add?
