We used to have a number of businesses in town with a kitty cat on hand to greet customers. No more. The county health dept forced them all out. Even if the store didn’t sell food products!
We had a cat in our food store, which was totally against the law. Any time a inspector came in there was a mad dash to put her outside for a while, to avoid detection.
Customers loved her so....usually the first words were: *Where’s JP?* They looked forward to saying hello to her.
We never had a rodent problem. Only inspector problems. :)
