Could the sequester be a blessing in disguise?

Are you kidding? These cuts will be painful, plain and simple

Yes, it will finally force Washington to make long-overdue spending cuts -- including to the military

Only in that it may force Congress to strike a more rational deficit deal

Only in the District of Corruption is a slowing of the rate of growth in spending is it called a 'CUT'. You are only going to see pain brought on by the clown in the White Hut. DOD is the organization truly hurt as the clown has already slashed military spending. As for police, firemen, and teachers being laid off because of a slowing of spending growth at the federal level - oh cry me a river. These folk are only being laid off for political reasons since they are paid for by local governments.

All future economic bad news is now the fault of those wascally Republicans. The word 'expected' is never to be used by the lame stream media again since bad economic news is now all 'expected' as a result of the Republicans NOT making a deal with the clown. The economic recovery - so-called - that will peter out is not ever to be the fault of clown or his rat party. The people of America want compromise and that means the Republicans have to bend to the demands of the clown since after all 'he won the election' This will be how the low information voters see it - I talked to 6 people at a gathering this evening and all blamed is on the GOP. The others at the event would not discuss politics and my wife kept her mouth shut because she hates me speaking my mind.

GOP: WAKE UP AND TAKE TO THE AIRWAVES - YOU HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO MANAGE YOUR MESSAGE, AND ARE LOSING NOT TO FACTS, BUT RATHER TO THE LIES BEING SPOUTED BY THE WH CLOWN AND HIS 'GOEBBLES LIKE' PROPAGANDA MACHINE!!

Although born and raised an Republican and voted 99% GOP for 46 years I switched to Independent in 2006 after San Francisco values took over and GWB said nothing to defend his party. I have pretty much made up my mind no more votes for national leaders. Blow the whole system up and start over. The founders never meant for there to be career politicians, the likes of which we now have running the country into the ground. The optics of this mess is horrible, and I cannot listen to the news anymore. There that is off my chest.
