With Ammo getting REALLY scarce. Could we PLEASE set up a FreeRepublic Ammo "exchange"?
Dang it! I’ve been scared to check. 1 1/2 years ago I bought 1000 rd case of silver bear .223 for .14c rd. 6mo’s later I bought another case at .19c rd. I hated to pay the extra nickle but thought what the heck.
Damn .223 is a buck a round now!!!
Um, sorry. Not exactly “used ammo”. That wouldn’t do anybody much good. How about pre-owned?

Me, too. But my local trusted dealer never has the ammo I want.
And if the gov't wants to know who owns what, they will probably find a way.

Tell me about it! Federal Premium 168gr 308 Match King is going for $2.50/rd!!! I could kick myself. Last fall BulkAmmo had cases of 1000 rds for about $650 iirc. I seriously considered buying a couple of them but passed on it figuring it’d be on sale again someday soon. Groan. :-(
