"It’s been a strong run of episodes of late for “The Walking Dead” — last week’s installment, “Clear,” won plaudits for its smart character moments and the return of Morgan, the good-natured man played by Lennie James, who initially saved the life of Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes way back in the series pilot.
Of course, a great deal has changed in the intervening time and the former friends found themselves navigating a tricky reunion. But Rick will have to face off against a very different kind of man in Sunday’s “Arrow on the Doorpost” when he sits down with the Governor (David Morrissey) to come up with a peace treaty that would enable the leaders to prevent any further deaths among their people."

I’ll have to rewatch the episode, but I thought I saw Eliza’s name written on Morgan’s wall. I could be wrong.
Sure hope it’s not as slow as last week’s ep. That was draining.

But I agree with you-—I sort of think Merle will die, maybe a hero’s death to redeem himself. I think that’s why they’re working to make us like him.
I have been wondering how close to the graphic novel they are going to stay. ‘Cause, if they follow that, well, we are going to be losing a lot of the cast this season.
Have you seen the movie 'Seven' with Brad Pitt playing a rookie detective? Right at the end he comes to the terrible realization that the package just delivered to him contains the head of his wife. And then he does that distraught little dance. And THAT is what Rick does. All the time, every time. It seems to be the whole extent of his acting capability. Imitating another hack actor.

True. I already read the Governor arc, and it’s waaay more brutal than what the show can come up with.
I hope not! I think Merl is going to become the go-to man when it come to somebody needing killing. I think that when Merl saw the scars on his little brother’s back, that was a life-changing moment.
I hope the next one to go is the Governor’s new main squeeze. I bet her head ends up in one of his tanks.
