No, I look at both sides equally. A person said that people who take from others shouldn’t vote. People on both SS and SNAP are presently STEALING from my kids, so I agreed with him that they shouldn’t vote. No hate on my part, just hoping to see some reform, so the country will get moving again.
As to people that “claim” to have paid into it, they know better, the government books are not secret, they knew the money was spent as it came in and payback would be dumped on future generations. In other words they knew it was just another form of income tax, since there is no lockbox and the money is simply gone.

What a line of crap. Insurance plans are REQUIRED to hold on to money or people go to jail. Plans which claim to be insurance and don’t have money are PYRAMID SCHEMES and the people that paid into them have NO CLAIM on my kid’s money, any more than someone that paid into Bernie Madoff has a claim on my kid’s earnings.
But don’t worry, just like the President’s kids, your government will put a gun to the heads of my kids (figuratively or literally) and TAKE the money from them that YOU DEMAND. So you’ll get it, nothing to worry about.
By the way, my kids NEVER stepped foot in your schools, which is why they’re able to understand just what you people are doing to them and the country.

Actually, many of us old people after having been taxed on it before we paid in to Social Security throughout out working years, pay tax on it again when we take it out. By your reckoning, we should get to vote twice...

I've had to pay into Social Security and pay for public schools all my life and have no kids. (Oh, and I am a veteran).

I just read that most of the parents had no idea where their children were? Some of them as young as 14?

Welfare, food stamps, WIC, ‘free” school breakfasts and lunches, Section 8 housing, Obamaphones, Medicaid, SSDI “crazy checks”, government services for illegal aliens, etc., etc., on infinitum. ...AFTER you cut off the Democrat party’s base of moochers, bums, deadbeats, and parasites, THEN talk to me about trimming back benefits for seniors who dumped their hard-earned money down the government toilet their entire working lives.

Yes, a flippant remark but the government owns many things that they should not including mining, drilling and harvesting rights that they refuse to allow us to utilize.

"Journalists" face two main obstacles in this regard. First, they "ain't all that bright". School of Journalism students are almost always in the bottom tier in terms of college entrance scores. Secondly, they are either unwilling or unable to write a story that does not conform to the Liberal line. To the Left, Blacks are eternal victims, and thus cannot be blamed when something goes "amiss". Thus, the story had to be written, but had to leave out the criminal act. What you have left is the poorly-worded dreck that we get in modern news stories.
