Two high school football stars, 18, charged with sexually assaulting girl, 13, who classmates are now calling a 'snitch' and a 'whore' on social media
A pair of high school footballers in Connecticut have been charged with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl, just days after two star players in Steubenville, Ohio, were convicted of rape in a case that shook the nation.
Torrington High School football players Edgar Gonzalez and Joan Toribio, both 18, are accused of felony second-degree sexual assault and other crimes in an investigation that began last month. Both have pleaded not guilty.
Since the alleged abuse, the young victim, who hasn't been named, has been taunted on social media sites by dozens of classmates who are upset at the claims against the football stars.
The victim has been called a 'whore,' criticized for 'snitching' and blamed for 'ruining' the players' lives.
One Twitter user wrote: 'Young girls acting like whores there's no punishment for that young boys acting like boys is a sentence.'

For every story like this that gets out, how many others have been swept under the rug?
I suspect it’ll eventually be enough that his “sons” could start their own football league.

My guess this is do to a confluence of items: Pornography, Light sentencing, and decreased or eliminated moral standards at home and in schools.

This behavior crosses all racial lines. I think the youth are basically living according to what the culture has told them - specifically, as you said, that they are animals and can never be expected to control their animal urges and thus society should just make sure that they can follow their urges safely and without consequence. I wonder if these guys learned their “technique” in sex ed class. I wonder if they just did what their rap music suggested.
Rather than chains, maybe the “gun control” logic should be suggested: that since the male anatomy CAN be used to inflict harm, it needs to be banned...
While I agree with your statement, in this instance, the woman was a girl of 13. Hardly someone that should be carrying a sidearm.
Well, thank goodness the government has kicked God and prayer out of their schools. These young rapists are just expressing their sexual urges, not that there’s anything wrong with that. They’ve probably been watching porn since they were 8 or 10 years old, which is very common.
I understand that. I didn’t specifically mean this girl, but that as our culture continues to pervert the minds of young men, our women could be in even more danger of rape.
