Walking Dead Surprises Me Again - Vanity
Me Myself and I | 3.24.13 | vladimir998

I won't give it away so anyone who hasn't seen the latest episode yet doesn't get a spoiler from me. . . but I was surprised by climatic scene tonight. They always find a way to surprise on this show.

As usual, depressing. I don’t know why I watch it.

Yep. A real surprise. One of the reasons I love this show beside the slicing and dicing. With this show, you can’t predict what’s going to happen.

Spoiler: Looks like **** is a goner.

I figured the Gov would take **** captive and say “I’m gonna need more dental chairs.”

==

Rather startling end to ****. But, WD seems have tough contract negotiations near the end of each season.

The only thing that surprised me was that the shocking deed wasn’t done by a sword wielder instead. (hope that didn’t give too much away)

That character has been at the top of my list for awhile. I thought it was way overdue.

I’m guessing it’s popular because no one is standing around examining how everyone feels but they yank the bolt and go out and get the job done.....

I thought this episode was fantastic.

The character has always been one of my favorites.

I can’t really say why, but that is the case.

Love the character, love the actor/ actress even more. I think he/ she is one of those actors/ actresses that once he/ she is gone, there is no replacing him/ her. The world is not producing actors/ actresses of this quality any longer that I can see.

I found myself feeling sympathy for both actors/ actresses involved in this scene, and I guess that is why I love this show, because the actors are of such quality that they bring the characters alive and make me care about them even though I know they do not exist.

That is rare these days.

Great show, and I’m gonna miss him/ her.

A few weeks ago I wanted to see him dead. Tonight I actually teared up when he finally did die. He went out storming the beaches.

Great episode.

You know what, I did too, and I wasn’t expecting that type of reaction.

The character was deeper than what is seen with a cursory glance.

It was brought to life brilliantly by a fantastic actor.

For all the the faults the character had, it also had worth.

Good stuff, I can’t think of anything else on tv that compels me to think about it on any sort of deeper level at all.

I know....you just can’t help wanting to dissect and discuss. It’s that good.

Michael Rooker did a fantastic job with the character of Merle. Merle really did have a well of humanity down inside. I’m sorry it won’t be explored any further now.

Walking Dead ping.

There are some spoilers in this thread. So if you haven’t seen tonight’s episode of The Walking Dead, you might want to wait until after you’ve seen it.

Please let me know if you’d like on or off The Walking Dead ping list.

Anyone else catch a glitch? In first scene or so darryl and Rick go through a door. Darryl has crossbow slung and an M16 type rifle. When they go on the other side of the door, Rick has the rifle and it grew a scope....

What I love about this show is just not just a “zombie” show but it is show about the emotional aspect of humanity but it also a show of REDEMPTION. It gives us an input how we may expect how others will behave during a severe crisis when our world is turned upside down.

Wow tonight episode had me crying. _______ showed that he redeem him or herself at the end. Yet very surprising that I was crying. I do not cry over TV shows but this show did. Starting with Sophia coming out of the barn, Rick learning Lori died, now this.

Well, there's always the ghost of Merle, coming back to guide lil' brother...
