Legal Equality or Marriage Redefined?
Ethics Forum ^ | March 26, 2013 | Alice C. Linsley

The United States of America is facing the definition of marriage. (The original amicus brief before SCOTUS, with its supporting documentation, can be found here.)

Why the big push in the USA? I say follow the money trail. Some are calling this the "trials of marriage." Perhaps we should consider instead "marriage on trial."

Other countries call this same-sex civil "partnership" and this is legally equal to marriage between a man and a woman. So the issue is not equality before the law, but redefining marriage.

Norway has had "registered partnerships" since 1993.

Sweden has called them "registered partnerships" since 1994.

Hungary and Iceland have had "registered partnerships" since 1996.

Foolishness.

Marriage means one and only one thing, everywhere and for all time.

What SCOTUS says can’t change that.

Interesting point this article makes. NO OTHER country has deemed homosexual union equal to marraige between a man and a woman. They all provide an alternative legal definition.

Someone needs to ask the homo-obsessed media freaks and politicians in this country why they think that is.

"Why the big push in the USA? I say follow the money trail."

This money trail is not driven by the noble desire for civil rights as applied to racial matters. No, it is driven by the desire to overturn the Defense of Marriage Act which prevents homo partners of civil servants from getting the same medical benefits that married spouses receive. The money trail is the pathway to benefit qualification and such is especially important for males. Homo males experience the most expensive medical conditons. Thus to enjoy the same medial coverage as married couples will be a pathway to huge medical costs being supported by the taxpayer.

Homo men experience all types of venereal diseases and some are not treatable. Then, there are infections such as shigellosis, salmonellosis, giardiasis and amebiasis. Lymphogranuloma venereum causes penile lesions and inguinal lymphadenitis in heterosexual men, whereas homosexual men are more prone to proctitis. The disease may mimic Crohn's disease. Herpes simplex viral infection may lead to lumbosacral radiculomyelopathy which mean paralysis. Hepetitus, can lead to liver failure and the need for a liver transplant..

Parasitic infections include giardiasis, amebiasis, and pinworm infections. .

Invasive meningococcal disease, commonly known as meningitis, are on the rise among gay men. Then there is HIV, which causes huge medical costs. .

Because of limited time, I have only touched the surface. My FReeper friends can take off with this one.

This marriage equality, riding in the Trojan Horse of civil rights is nothing more than a budget buster from the medical costs that homo male partners will push onto the burdon of the taxpayer.
