when her mom Hillary was hospitalized with a blood clot near her brain

Remember once when she testified her answer was "I cannot recall". Next Question is "does she really have a brain" answer to that is "guess not, she is a ComDem."

My first thought was birth control. My generation was the first to use "The Pill" so we don't really know the consequences of using it long term.(I feel one generation is not long term)

Another thought is nutrition. Or more specifically, preservatives? Many more added to food than when I was a child.

Just poor nutrition alone doesn't jive with how easily the food stamp/teenage girls seem to pop out kids. Maybe we should tell kids to eat more junk food! LOL

There are white Africans too. I wonder what the howls of outrage would be if she opted for a WHITE African baby?

The better question would be, why not an African American baby? Pretty sure there are lots of kids (babies included) to adopt in this country...why go to Africa?

All joking and my very legitimate negative opinions about the Clintons aside, I think adoption is a wonderful thing to do if it is done for the right reasons, i.e. not for appearances or as adopting a child like one would adopt a Chihuahua and merely carry it around as some sort of fashion accessory or as a political statement. I don’t know her motives but can only hope they are the right motives. But we are pro-life here are we not? Isn’t adoption one of those things that we pro-lifers espouse as an alternative to abortion?

Both my cousins were adopted as my aunt was unable to conceive, and my one cousin and her husband decided to adopt before having any children of their own; it was her way I guess of “paying it forward”. She was so grateful to the loving parents who adopted her and her brother; that she wanted to do the same for other children.

They are rather well off BTW, with him being a partner in a big prestigious Philly law firm so my cousin was not only in the position to adopt but also financially secure enough that she could quit her highly paid job as a banking executive to be a full time stay at home mom. Two of the children they adopted are black, not from Africa but from here in PA where they live; one was adopted not as an infant but at two years old and one has a learning disability most likely because of his birth mother’s drug abuse; they also adopted a mix race baby who is autistic and or mildly retarded (I’m not sure which but know he has many problems). Then a few years later they gave birth to their 4th child. And my cousin and her husband and our entire family love them all equally.

While my cousin is a deeply religious born again Christian, she is also quite a bit to the liberal side politically – a big Obama supporter (ugg). But while I disagree with her politics, I applaud her and her husband for what they have done to give a good and loving home to three children who might have otherwise been aborted or abandoned, neglected, abused or left as wards to the Welfare State.

I also as someone who very much wanted to have children, my husband and I tried for many years but couldn’t, I take great offence to the implication that a woman who cannot conceive, cannot do so because she is too unattractive.

At some point in their 30 ‘s, they realized they wanted kids and then had trouble having them.

My daughter followed that route but not by choice. She wanted to get married earlier but the guys she dated were not of that mind. She turned to more school to fill her time. (for lack of a better way of putting it)

Not to pick on men but it seems these days, the guys are reluctant to get married. I'm guessing that they'd like to avoid the high cost of divorce and losing so much of what they work for.

I can remember when parents getting a divorce was a big thing! Scandalous even. Now it's the other way around. when I mention that I've been married for 36 years, I get raised eyebrows!

I guess that is what you have to do when your husband is a fag.

There are white Africans too.

My first inclination was, "There no white America chiildren who could be placed in a home of the uber-privileged?

If not, it seems to me that this is nothing more than a publicity stunt.

A friend of mine and her husband adopted two children and not long after, her husband decided he liked another woman better than her and the kids so he left.

Subsequently, his parents (the children’s grandparents) do NOT consider the children to be any relation to them and ignore them completely.

My feeling as both parent and grandparent of biological and adopted children, the children are better off without them. Better to be out of their lives than to be consciously or unconsciously second class.

I believe in my heart that adoption is a miracle. The bonding starts when you see the first picture. And just like with biological children, that sealed with concrete parent/child bond can come instantly or over time. But through the Grace of God, that bond comes. Of our 11 children, 2 (who happen to be of a different race) were legally adopted, and one was our niece who was in our sole care from her 10th birthday on. 5 of our 36 grandchildren are adopted. I assure you parental feelings and it no longer matters to you how your children came to your family. As for grandchildren, I can't honestly say I ever felt differently toward any of them biological or adopted - they're all the children of the people my wife and I love the most. The grandchild with whom I am closest is the adopted grandson (of my biological daughter) whose CYO basketball team I coached.
