BLAIRSVILLE, Pa.- Authorities in Pennsylvania said a man faces charges including reckless endangerment for allegedly shooting a white-tailed deer in a Walmart parking lot.

The Pennsylvania Game Commission said Arcangelo Bianco Jr., 40, used a handgun to shoot the deer in the parking lot of the Resort Plaza Walmart in Blairsville in November and bagged the buck on the other side of the road, The Indiana (Pa.) Gazette reported Wednesday.

In addition to misdemeanor reckless endangerment, Bianco faces five hunting-related summary charges, including hunting without a license, shooting on or across highways and unlawful killing or taking of big game.

"Obviously, we can't have someone running through a Walmart parking lot shooting at a deer," wildlife conservation officer Jack Lucas said.

The case is scheduled for a preliminary hearing May 1.

He took down a buck with a handgun across a highway while running? That's impressive.

What an idiot. Guys like this can bleep things up for legitimate hunters and gun owners in general. No sympathy.

I'm glad the buck was a deer and not somebody's uncle.
The headline had me worried.

This could have been a money maker if Walmart handled it right.

Someone should call Jeff Foxworthy: “If you’ve ever gone deer hunting in the parking lot at Walmart.....”
