I thought it was one shot in the air and one shot through the door.

Yeah, yeah! I'll bet there are plenty of guns the government doesn't know about on that island. Cheap? No, probably not, but available? I'd be surprised if they weren't.
During the 1960’s riots between Greek & Turkish Cypriots, both sides were heavily armed with WWII small arms, shotguns, & pistols. Since the Republic of Cyprus minus the Turkish occupation zone is a clone of Greece (google `enosis’), their gun laws follow suit; but then take a gander at the island of Crete.
Cretans are armed to the teeth, have been since the Nazis invaded, are even more heavily armed following the fall of the Soviet Bloc, and the Athens government wisely chooses to leave well enough alone. A village wedding on Crete sounds like war breaking out.
It doesn’t matter ho much guns are restricted, when a war breaks out someone will supply the guns.
Sounds like Slo Joe advice. Especially when he clarified things by suggesting gals shoot through closed doors.
We need to get Cyprus into people’s minds here. The government just stole people’s life savings. How can that be a good argument for Democrats expanding government control of everything.
