They’re allowed to have shotguns, but a double-barrel at best. No pump or semi-auto allowed.

Who wants to bet that government officials and “priviledged” individuals are exempt.

According to
www.gunpolicy.org, they can own semi-autos and handguns but "with special authorization." That really means, "forget it, kid."

So, you had a situation where a population of many gov't teet suckers had no access to cash, food, etc. for a couple of weeks and no means to protect themselves and their families?
Now, this is Cyprus. A small population of largely domesticated Europeans.
Imagine this in Detroit or Chicago.

And their Government just stole billion of dollars from them and there isn’t a damned thing they can do about it.
That’s why their Government won’t allow them guns.

I was wondering why, with all of the riots, there wasn't a death toll. Makes sense now.
The Cypriots will have to locate weapons and ammo in Lebanon or Turkey...if they have enough money stashed in the mattress. Then it will be time to hunt bankers and politicians. No bag limit.

More correctly the EU Cental Bank and the EU HQ in general stole the money by levying the conscription - robbed the bank accounts of people who could not mount an armed resistance or take revenge

Theyre allowed to have shotguns, but a double-barrel at best. Crazy Joe Biden thinks that's all you need to protect yourselves from home invaders. Only, not to shoot the invaders but to fire the two shots into the air on your balcony, if you have one, if not then into the ceiling I suppose, to scare the miscreants away. Sounds like SOUND advise. ;)

Goverment with no check and balance ends up like Cyprus, broke and is failing as a little empire. No government control on corruption.
