Auntie Annes Pretzels was on set to explain the surprising connection between pretzels and Easter.
In the 1500s the pretzel became responsible for the Easter egg hunt! On Easter morning, parents of German children would hide pretzels in various locations on their farms, often in barns and hay lofts. The hunt would end when all the pretzels were discovered and enjoyed!
Celebrating 25 years, Auntie Annes is rolling and twisting pretzels at more than 1,300 locations and in 25 different countries!
The Honey Whole Grain Pretzel, which packs a hint of honey sweetness and real whole grain dough, boasts one daily serving of whole grains, six grams of fiber and just 300 calories. It has also received the stamp of approval from the Whole Grain Council with 67 grams or more of whole grains per serving, for a better-for-you snack on the go.
To continue the celebration of 25 pretzel perfect years, Auntie Annes is offering fans a chance at $25,000 and other cool prizes.
