Yes, this is absolutely correct. Our DNA is a complex information system, and such systems only appear by design. There are self-organizing phenomena in nature, but nothing that can produce the analytical structures, data systems, algorithms, etc, which all must be part of our DNA in order for it to perform what it does.
Furthermore, even though we humans believe that we “invented” computing, and have refined it for over a century into a science, we still can’t hope to understand the complexities of the DNA code, even though it is not encrypted, but plain for us to read and study. It’s simply beyond our capacity to understand, at this point in our knowledge of computing, and therefore, it stands to reason that it could only be designed by a being with greater intelligence or knowledge than we possess.
Now, this man may want to attribute those facts to an extraterrestrial origin, but all of the same facts also support the thesis of a supernatural creation. Even if you assume the extraterrestrial thesis to be more reasonable, you would just be kicking the can down the road, because it would lead to the question: “Who designed the ET’s genetic code?”
