A drunken man found dangling from an overhead power cable above a busy street was saved by Chinese firefighters who positioned a safety cushion beneath him.
The incident was captured on camera and broadcast on China's CCTV state television.
The pictures show a man clinging to the wires upside down and moving slowly along the cables in the city of Linfen in Shanxin province last Friday morning.
