Charlie is still alive and touring.
Myself, I wish that entertainers would leave politics out of it. I enjoy their music and had to put their politics aside.
Cross over music seems to be the current trend. I don’t mind that either. It can make some interesting combinations.
The Toby Keith performance at the BET music awards was excellent.
Honestly who watches this crap? The Oscars, the Dove Awards, Tony Awards, etc., etc., I don't recall what the awards are, what they represent, who the celebrity idiots are chosen, and so on.
I have a hard enough time watching sports programs, with all the liberal garbage & political correctness thrown at us by the commentators, including 1 or 2 token whites. All the other commentators including the anchor chair are black.
He wuz country, when country wasn't kewl!
I think Country music started its downward spiral into liberalism when Johnny Cash started to emphasize "social justice" in the 60s.That Johnny. Whatta pinko.
That's Fingertips Part 1, or Fingertips Part 2?
I guess you are unaware that Stevie Wonder did a country song, i Ain't Gonna Stand For It, which almost made the top ten. Sounds more country than any song most of those other performers on your list.
There is a God.
whoa..did not know that...
Stevie Wonder? Country?
My thoughts exactly but I added Kelly Clarkson the WTH? file. I love Kelly but country? Not much.
You’re referring to Brad Paisley, right?
I am not sure that he is a wacko liberal but (shivers), he attended the Inaugural. I attended Clinton’s second inaugural and still as conservative as can be. I was even part of the Second Presidential Inaugural of President Clinton......I was in the Joint Military Inaugural Committee and went to all the festivities....had I not, I would have been put up on charges of going AWOL. No thanks. I went to all the festivities required.
Who watches this crap? The Oscars,
Only 50 million of your closest Americans. lol.
Glad to hear Charley is still with us. He should have been invited to appear at the awards show instead of Wonder, whose presence makes no sense except to draw a larger TV audience.
"WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE?"
hey, that's really good! i just went online to listen to it... definitely, i will have to play this at my next party... thanks!
