In one week, the greatest country band of all time will be decided. The past three weeks have seen upsets and blowouts — and more than a few come-from-behind wins. It’s Taste of Country’s March Bandness, where anything is possible. Fans and ToC readers will determine a champion from two legendary finalists: Alabama and the Charlie Daniels Band.
Never considered CDB a country band. They are Southern Rock which is now what country music has become. One of th biggest producers in Nashville is Chuck Leavell for Allman Brother fame.
Vote every hour for Charlie — he’s recuperating from pacemaker surgery and we all need to support him!

Alabama lost me as a fan with "Song of the South", a tribute to the socialist Democrat Franklin Roosevelt and the make-work government program, the TVA:
