So I took Tobbee to breakfast this morning...pancakes. His favorite. Still on the plate when we left. He gobbled up his eggs, then chugged his chocolate milk and stared at his pancakes. He has been begging to go there for pancakes. I made him wait, because he had been rude about asking. Finally, the day comes and he says the pancakes are not as good as his Mom’s and definitely not as good as his Grandma’s. ((shaking head)) A dream got busted today. Poor little guy.

Still hurts. It’s because of the swelling. I have PT today, which should help. Thanks for asking.

When I saw the ping the first thing I thought of was the word "slaver" with a macron over the "ā" - most appropriate when applied to the Obama Regime and its totalitarian apparatchiks.

Today in our press and sun bulletin paper and online, they put up the dispatch exchanges from our fatal line of duty death fire. Hot buttons have been pushed. My FB page is full and the natives are angry. You can hear it or read the transcript. From the reaction, I would say the department is far from healed. Too painful to listen to. I heard it live that night. Cannot say how horrific it was to hear. Just glad I wasn’t on the scene that night. Why on earth would I want to hear that again? Or think about it. Or relive it? Not happening. I would cancel the paper, but I did that 20 years ago.

It is 51 and sunny here-it was downright cold this morning-below 40...

Obama’s minions are saying
Obamascare will be a wreck-
And the only way to “save” it
Is to write a bigger check

An amount to make them slaver
Is the only thing we must do-
And don’t forget a lot of pork
To pay off the leeches, too

As more states see the trap
And smell the molasses, too
They step back and file a suit
While trying to avoid the goo-

It’s sunny and in the mid seventies here in northeast Ohio. It’s supposed to cool to the mid sixties this weekend.

Warmer up north than down here-that certainly proves that global warming is bulls***...

I guess they’ve had snow in the uppermidwest but that front has stalled to the west of me.

Nicest weather in the country, here right now.

That doesn’t happen too often.

And after a winter that wouldn’t end until a few days ago here, yes global warming is bulls****

It can be winter for awhile longer every year-that is fine with me-I have never liked summer much anyway especially July and August.

It does look as though the several-hundred-year warm period we are in is ending. Scientific study, and historical records show that this has happened before, and it is cyclical-but that doesn’t fit the hysterical mantra that the sky is falling...

We had our BMI checks for insurance eligibility today. I feel like a Bluth company employee. I’m officially “overweight.” But not obese, which would preclude me.

Woo hoo! Overweight! Don’t Buy! Steve Holt!

How much does one have to weigh for a certain height to be officially overweight? I work with guys who do the physically heavy labor on job sites (a few pump some iron, too)-one guy is my height of 5’9”, and weighs 190 something. He is built like a brick s***house-there is not an ounce of fat on him-pure eye candy. Would he be overweight?

http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/guidelines/obesity/BMI/bmicalc.htm

Courtesy of the federal gov’t.

5-9, 190 is a 28.1. Overweight. Not obese.

I am 5-10. I would have to weight 174 to not be “overweight.”

I could weigh as little as 129 and be “normal.”

It’s largely unrealistic nonsense.

May 26th

I can’t wait but I may have to wait.

I might have to go to Chicago and I probably can’t just spend 7 hours watching it on my iphone (I have neither the bandwith not the batterlife to do such a thing)
