As informed citizens, we need to be careful about conflating weather, climate change and natural disasters.
Weather (i.e. the extreme cold we’re having in Texas this spring) is weather. Climate is the measurement of long-term weather data over broad areas (i.e. global temperatures over a 50 year period). For most people, these are pretty easy distinctions to make.

You have to understand - When it’s hot or stormy it’s “CLIMATE” when it’s cool and calm it’s weather. /s

Adaptation is the name of the game. Lots cheaper than designing the ol’ weather machine. Not that richard branson isn’t probably working on one as we speak. There’s $$$ to be made.

The sun causes global warming, the lack of the sun causes global cooling. There’s the truth and I can prove it every DAY and NIGHT and without a government grant. People who think otherwise are IDIOTS! Now (idiots) prove me wrong..but see if you can do it without a government grant too.
Dude! You are so missing the boat. Apply for that grant and then keep records 24/7x365 and then you can pony of a graph showing the absence of sunlight causes a decline in temperature. Presence of sunlight causes an elevation in temperature. I see big bucks in your future. LOL!
