I’ve been a ragdoll breeder for years and both the ACA and TICA have been recognizing the breed since before 2000.

I had read they were not recognized back in the 90s, so that makes sense.

I just lost my 20 year old American Shorthair on Wednesday. She was an amazing cat. Miss her terribly and lost without her. :(

Savanna’s, a new breed is the most beautiful and largest (tallest) cat and I would like one except that there prices range 800-1500 dollars...Its a cross with the Serval (wild cat) and a domestic cat. Forgot the breed it was crossed with...They maintained their wild look, very long legged cat..

I'd take one of each, if I could.

We didn’t start with the ragdolls until 2004 so that was before I even knew the breed existed.

Unfortunately I know that pain...

We are so blessed to have them for the time we get with them.

It just kills us when they go home, but I firmly believe they will be waiting for us when it’s our turn...

I have a cat . Just a plain old ordinary cat snoring by my side I picked up at a shelter that her previous owner didn’t want anymore and spent the next 3 years at a shelter where she was consired unadoptable. She’s a Cat. I love her so much. She’s my best friend and I’m blessed to have her.

Thank goodness none of ours are Sphynx. I’d be forever knitting ugly sweaters fo them that would embarrass the poor kittay to tears.

I've never regretted a cat we've owned. I miss having one in the family.
