That sounds very appropriate
That will also get you in trouble with Freepers that always chime in with “get her a cheeseburger” in posts with fit women pictures...............
Lard asses that want to shop there should lose some weight and become respectable!!!
Imagine finding that while in the dentist's office.
ugh
That was the refrain in High School fifty years ago: "She shops at Omar the Tent Maker's".
My grandmother was a wedding gown designer in the 1940’s, 50’s and 60’s. I have beautiful pictures of the gowns she created. I always thought the secret to her success was that she didn't size her garments! She never went “big time” because she made each dress by hand. She'd say, if a bride asked, “What size is my dress?” “Your Size, honey!” A size 0 or a size 16 was made to fit the person, so it looked well on THEM. This was before the “obesity epidemic” we all talk about. My Grandmother used to say to many brides (and people in general) looked bad because they couldn't accept they were a certain size and bought clothes that were to small. A size 6 wearing a size 2 is not flattering. A size 12 wearing a size 12 is much prettier. Marilyn Monroe wore her 12/14 well! But she couldn't shop at A&F!
I’m looking for the bumper sticker “SAVE A WHALE, HAROOON A FAT CHICK”.
lol.
hopefully they will go the way of JC Penney
Telling a harsh truth for a good reason may get one in trouble. However glorifying snobbery for profit and fun is not revealing any new truth, but just being an a-hole.
It’s called target marketing. His disgusting ads would keep me away even if I could wear his clothes. Every business is not meant to serve every person.
Some people have bodies made by weird science!
When I left Navy Recruit Training (boot camp), my weight was 103 pounds. I wore a petite size 8 skirt which was too short as my inseam is 32”, but not the uniform jacket; that had to be a petite size 14 and fitted around double DD’s which did not shrink.
Today I buy my clothes from Lands End and LL Bean. Polo shirts, chinos and jeans. All my tailored clothing is 30-years old, still wearable and safely stored.
Marylin Monroe was one of the most beautiful women of all time.
But no way, in nobodies book, would she be called “petite”!
Part of it I blame on the govt telling everyone for the past few decades to eat lots of grains.
And not a girdle or corset in sight. "bounce your boobies" has morphed into "jiggle your jello".
I weigh 93 lbs; and I will never shop there.
That free welfare food sure makes them fat.
Welfare pigs at the trough. Nothing more. Free food, eat what you can on food stamps and use the welfare cash to buy more.
It’s the American way today.
I despise that store and won’t be going in there anymore. My child is a skinny minnie, and has bought their garbage, but the last time I was in there, the obscene music was blaring so loud I couldn’t hear myself think, it was freezing cold and some metrosexual male model was striding around the front. When we bought our stuff, the flakey girl wanted to put it in a bag with a shirtless man pictured on it, so I asked for a regular bag, but no, they didn’t have one. I hate that place. I asked for the manager and told him the volume of the “music” was driving the mothers with the credit cards out of the store and he looked at me like I was incomprehensible to his coolness. However I am way cooler than him, being a person with a brain.
