The scariest thing about Benghazi, Fast and Furious, etc.
none | unpublished | self

Posted on 05/12/2013 8:07:00 AM PDT by ArtDodger

To me, the scariest part of these cover-ups is that tens of thousands of people are aware of the treasonous actions by this administration and are saying NOTHING to protect their cushy jobs. Many of these people, I know, are ex-service members, christians, and conservatives, yet they have been silent while watching some of the most corrupt crimes to afflict this government unfold.

Newspeople who don't report the news or promote lies. Politicians who see treason and look the other way. Bureaucrats that willingly assist their bosses in fraud. One day, their (and our) freedom will be gone completely and it will be too late for them to wish they had not been silent.

Many of these are in the group that I called 2/3 of Americans that are just ignorant.

And people wonder how fascists rise to power? “How could they have been so blind?” Ha! This is exactly how. “What I was doing or not doing isn’t so bad...” Yes, but every little bit of action or non-action helps the evil with a plan to advance...

Logical, I understand that group. Hell, I am so busy trying to keep afloat, I have a hard time keeping up with the news. My concern are those that KNOW what is going on and make the decision to do nothing. How many people in the State Department know what is being covered up and are silent? Ten thousand people in the news business know the DNC is orchestrating the news and they are playing along. This is how dictatorships come about..

The quality of a representative democracy will never exceed the quality of the press.

Its scary knowing not one American will stand up and fight for freedom and every singler person who swore an oath to defend the constitution just cares about were the next paycheck is due in.

Saw a retired Marine this A.M. say it would have taken us two days to respond to Benghazi. Wow! A Huge Lie! or was this retired Marine putting this out as misinformation for a specific reason ... I know not.

Somebody said something like:

"All that is required for evil to grow is for good people to do nothing".

This, I believe, is what the Founders meant when they pledged their “lives, fortunes, and sacred honor.” They went into the great American experience knowing that their lives would never be cushy, they would likely die poor, and their honor in the eyes of their opponents would be damaged.

I would give up anything I knew, regardless of how poor I might become, if it meant that America were safer. I believe people who are being quiet are complicit in the deaths of those 4 men in Benghazi.

That being said, I believe we will all be tested next year when the IRS requires that we give up previously-personal information. I will go to the poorhouse, prison, and even my grave to keep my private life private. The government has grown to an unmanageable, unsustainable size. It WILL require a collapse to fix.

Thanks rarestia. Your thought is rare amongst the crowd. Heck most of the crowd is not paying attention or rather at least one third is not.

If it takes us two days to respond, maybe we don’t need to be paying what we pay for a military.

yes ... cannot figure out why this lie was put out. We were less than two hours away with a C-130. We also had permission to have armed drones overhead at all times. Something smells from this retired Marine this A.M. Am having difficulty dealing with this lie.

Those drones are pretty big aircraft. We couldn’t use the one that was there to buzz the s**theads that were attacking Americans? Good God, if you have a drone over Benghazi and you’ve decided not to use the military, then send the drone home or you’re just a bunch of bloodthirsty, sadistic bast**ds watching Americans die. Yes, I do realize that drones cost a lot of money, but crash it into the mortar crew that killed those former SEALs. Go tell those dead American’s families about how much that drone cost.

I know, I know, some of you may be sick of seeing it, but like the left, we need to keep on beating the drum on this.
Nixon resigned for less.
The media rode Bush for more than a month for Abu Ghraib and nobody died there. The NY Times had it on their front page 47 times - 32 days in a row at one point. Benghazi? 1 day in a row.

The Benghazi Timeline

After months of begging for better security, Ambassador
Stevens calls for help...

Our military is ready to rescue the Ambassador and his
staff, but are given the order to "Stand Down" by Obama.

while apologizing to violent Muslims.

their lie falls apart.
