FULL TITLE:

'I would have reported him - brother or no brother' - Ariel Castro's brothers break their silence after to insist they knew nothing about female prisoners in home

The brothers of Cleveland kidnapping suspect Ariel Castro have spoken out for the first time, saying that they would have turned him in if they knew three women were being held prisoner in his home.

The brothers, who were arrested along with Ariel Castro, say that since their release from prison, they have been faced with online death threats, a break-in at one of their homes, and vandalism.

They were released several days after their arrest due to lack of evidence linking them to the crimes.

When asked by CNN reporter Martin Savidge if the public would always suspect they had a role in the kidnappings, they answered 'yes' in unison.

Onil Castro said: 'The people out there who know me, they know that Onil Castro is not that person, has nothing to do with that - would never even think of something like that. I was a very liked person [before the arrest], never had any enemies.

Yeah, that’s just it. Did no one bother asking who this girlfriend was and does the guy even have a girlfriend? It’s ridiculous to think that no one even asked a simple question. It’s even more ridiculous that the cops never followed through on so many calls. Just like so many cops and parole officers over the years didn’t do their job when they were face to face with Jaycee Dugard.

Notice the interview picture of the brothers. You know their lawyers went into overdrive getting them cleaned up and presentable for the cameras.

It could be that those other were other men, and not the brothers. It could be that the women were blindfolded when they were in the yard, so they could not identify where they were. It could also be that the girls didn’t spend enough time with the other men to be able to identify them properly.

Most people consider it to be impolite to give the third degree to everybody they meet. I’m not going to think badly of anybody who took Castro at his word when he said his daughter was only his girlfriend’s.

What girlfriend?

Did anyone in his family ever see this phantom “girlfriend”?

Not every family in America is connected enough that, if somebody was in a relationship, the rest of the family would be pressuring to meet that other significant other.

That does not mean that everybody who declines to show their boyfriend or girlfriend is guilty of keeping them in the basement and abusing them for years on end.

The family accepts this little girl is the daughter of GF w/o ever seeing a G/F?

I think it’s more of a don’t ask don’t tell. Certainly after his record with his ex the family knew he was unhinged.

Psychopaths are a lot more common than you’d believe, but most aren’t committing crimes. We also, in our lives, come across a lot more victims than we’d believe, but we often fail to recognize the signs that they are in trouble.

Not everyone brings a girlfriend/boyfriend around their family.

We maybe assuming that this is a close family. I have a brother that I see maybe once every five years. If he brought a child and said it was his daughter I can’t say I would call the police. She very well could be.

If that is true the neighbors bare some responsibility

Video it with your Obama phone

Or be just old fashioned about it and wait until the Castro guy is out of the house and break down the back door.

Then lose your own house in the inevitable lawsuit that follows, because it turned out the lady on the leash was willingly paid to crawl around on a leash.

There also are a remarkable number of women who volunteer to crawl around on a leash for free. There’s a whole sub-culture.

I’m not going to swear to anything...but I think the “women on dog leashes” story has been debunked.

That may end up being the case. I quoted what many consider 'reliable' sources, so I thought there must be a least a smidgeon of truth to their statements.

I would also think a wise person would also consider if these neighbors were just looking for their 15 minutes of fame.

P.S. If you find where it was debunked, Please let me know.

Thanks.

I’m pretty sure I heard it on a news report.

If I see an article posted, I’ll send it.

Frankly, I’m a little hesitant to google “women in the backyard on leashes”, lol.

I had the same hesitancy. BUT.... I limited it by putting CASTRO in and leaving NAKED out.
