We should not be surprised that a demonically driven liar would use taqiyya (or is it taqqiya?).
In response to the vid:
Evidently, the uproar that he caused by what he said has been forgotten. The youtube is the official wh gov vid. As so many times before, it is what they say it is. I am telling you I watched it. I know what he said, but I will concede that I only know what I know, so even if he did NOT use the word holy, the speech was a lie based on a lie and there is no way of wiping that clean.
The entire premise was still that the video caused what happened at Benghazi. He lied through his teeth to the entire world and he KNEW it.
This article does not stand or fall on one word. And the context of the speech was the underlying lie that he used to absolve himself of any blame whatsoever and that the murders were in response to the slander of ‘the prophet’ and not simply coldblooded murder without reason.
Please see post #122
Do we have the vid of bam’s original UN speech? They scrubbed it.
I’ve looked at a few copies of this speech - there are several, from different outlets - and they all seem to just say prophet, not holy.
Captioning will get ya, sometimes.
That is my take, that Nakoula was found to be the FBI asset.
I asked hardraade to check other vids because as some of you might or might not know, I am deaf and need ro depend on captions to know what people are saying. It’s hard to read lips and watch captions at the same time, So the caption was incorrect and I apologize. Please do not allow one word to ger in the way of the real truth which is that the foundation he built that speech on was a complete and utter lie.
Again, I apologize.

I agree with hardraade that captioning will get you sometimes and given your comments, I accept your explanation. My concern was basically this when one is presenting a story like this (as in making a factually based case), it is imperative that everything essentially be letter perfect and line up . and those areas that are speculative and need more information be identified as such. Otherwise, one runs the risk that a readers scrutiny that uncovers one minor issue that doesnt line up will cause a reader to be dismissive of the whole piece on no other grounds than well if that was overstated, what else has been overstated?. On such an important story as this, that cant be allowed to happen.
Well, the article has been corrected and explained to the analyst groups that have been pinged to it. It’s now getting some international attention, as well as from DC.
Here is one comment from a US professional:
Former top mil analyst doing the ultimate dismantling of Benghazi, part one:...
Very interesting analysis...and very plausible. We’ll have to see how this plays out

Somehow Terry Jones got mixed up in this mess. I have no affiliation with Jones. I only know of him from his book burning publicity tour. And then he pops up in the public eye having Dempsey call him.
I agree with you a thousand percent. That is why I asked for hardraade to please check it out because I didn’t want the entire article to rise or fall on one word. I can’t edit this article, but I did change it for the junipersec blog.

Post #133 was meant for hecticskeptic. As you can probably tell, I am a tad agitated at myself.

The Innocence of Muslims film, (Desert Warrior) describes it as a "historical Arabian Desert adventure film." By, Sam Bassiel, Sam Bacile, Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, a filmmaker with ties to Coptic Christian groups; which cost $100,000 to produce, co-ordinated by Joseph Nasrallah Abdelmasih's Media for Christ nonprofit. Directed by soft pornographer Alan Roberts, an industry veteran whose prior work was dominated by titles like "Happy Hooker Goes Hollywood"..
Who is Nakoula Basseley Nakoula?
"Federal authorities confirmed to the AP news agency that Nakoula was indeed connected to the persona of "Sam Bacile", a man who had initially claimed to the AP that he was the film's writer and director."
"But Bacile turned out to be a false identity, and the AP traced a cellphone number Bacile used to a southern California house where it located and interviewed the real Nakoula."
"Bacile first said he was Jewish and Israeli, but Israeli officials said they had no records of such a citizen. Others involved in the film said his statements were contrived, as evidence mounted that the film's key player was an Egyptian-American Copt with a checkered past."
"Nakoula told the AP in an interview on Wednesday that he managed logistics for the company that produced the film. But Nakoula still denied he was Bacile and said he did not direct the film - though he said he "knew" Bacile."
If anybody can show me anything that confirms the Yemen story, please alert me.
In the meantime, all we have is media speculation. For instance:
"Holder repeatedly pleaded ignorance about the wiretapping of AP editors and reporters, saying he had recused himself from what was evidently an investigation about a CIA counter-terrorism operation in Yemen last year."
Eric Holder Confirms Deputy AG James Cole Authorized Seizure of Associated Press Phone Records
Please note that the above quote was from holder’s own sworn testimony before Congress. NOWHERE did he mention either a timeline or a REASON for the wiretaps, and yet the author of the article saw fit to include “evidently”. WHY was it evident when no one from doj has ever mentioned it?
The article is still drawing hits on the blog, both from the pros and the press. Gonna be real interesting when the rest pops out.
And waiting for your blood tests on Monday, I dropped a little bit into your kitty :).
