Deal with it.

Isn't confronting it a good way of dealing with it?

I believe that is true since it stayed much cooler here in Texas this spring. Normally, tornados start much earlier so I expect more of them now since Texas weather is much hotter the past week. The southern air is heating up and sending that heat to the cooler weather north and it is exploding. Spring tornados are usually over by the time hurricane season starts in June. That may not happen this time, the tornados may keep going into the first part of hurricane season. When the weather north warms up, too, then tornados are less likely.

USA Today ought to ask Moore, OK what they think about that statistic.

The lib answer to that (fewer tornadoes) is easy. They’ll say, “Yes! But they are much more devastating and destructive. It’s for the children!! Now where is my large Chevy Suburban limo?”

Pay no attention to Facts..

They are ‘irrelevant’, the WH says so.

“The article counts all tornadoes for the past 12 months.”

I understand. If this spring had been normal, the number would be much higher.

There were few tornadoes last year due to the drought and few earlier this year due to the cold spring.

Joe Cantori with Accuweather, the best weather guy in my book, says weather patterns repeat themselves and last year there were less hurricanes, too. He is predicting a higher than normal number of hurricanes this year. I don’t know if “spring” tornados are over this year since the weather was so cool for so long this time.

Can’t link to USA Today.

Incorrect. You can link to Gannett publications. You cannot post excerpts from Gannett publications.

Received another letter from Gannett Publications, publisher of USAToday, and several other newspapers. Due to contractual arrangements they have with third-party content providers, they have denied our request to allow posting of excerpts. They will only allow the posting of titles and links.
